We were lucky enough to take some beautiful videos during our retreat this year. These videos feature Louis Q'espe from the Q'ero tribe performing a limpia cleansing and also a dispatcho offering. The limpia cleansing is always included in our San Pedro ceremonies and while everyone on our retreat usually comes for the San Pedro and Ayahuasca ceremonies, the dispatcho is possibly the most powerful ceremony of our retreat.
Working with the Q'ero is really a special priviledge. They are the only Andean culture not altered by contact with the Spanish and Catholic culture - when the Spanish arrived they hid in the mountains and kept their culture and spiritual practices intact and unaltered from ancient times.
